The Land of Freedom is a collective of photos taken in the Republic of Mali in 2021. Every portrait and life documentation I made here is framed to show those people’s dignity and their elegance. I’m personally not on the side to believe that Africans need any kind of outsider’s help at all. My own experience, I suppose, was kind of in the opposite direction. Every person here was experiencing endless fortunes of wide landscapes, soft rains, touchable clouds, sincere smiles that we could not own even with billions of dollars in our modern cities. Every child becomes an angel to me, to protect me from unnecessary fear of the unknown. They hugged me with the knowledge they had about the nature of everything. They were effortlessly cool, happy, and confident. Every piece I created there is some kind of payback I could give.
